Implementation of Continuous Crossings for Cardiff Council

The Brief

Cowbridge road was chosen for the implementation of continuous crossings as part of the wider environmental improvements for the area.

Encouraging drivers to turn into side roads with caution, reduce accidents and supporting the increased walking demand.

Without a change in design the aim was to match the pattern and colours of the existing paving flags or cobble stones which form the traditional sidewalks.
